We are looking for a Coordinator with a teaching background, preferably adult teaching and someone who understands evidence-based assessments. In this role, you will coordinate and quality assure the marking and assessment evidence of our Te Pouhono students' work. In this role you will work closely with volunteer Mahi Aroha Kaiako, Marae Coordinators, internal Academic Advisors/Regional Monitors, and Regional Coordinators to close their programmes once they have completed the delivery of all wananga. Therefore, building and maintaining positive relationships with, and mentoring Mahi Aroha Kaiako and Marae Coordinators, is an important aspect of this role. Our successful applicant will have: A teaching qualification. Teaching experience and/or relevant teaching and learning support experience. Experience assessing and marking NZQA standards. Unit standard 4098. Strong administration experience inclusive of experience coordinating people and processes. Knowledge of Tikanga Maori and the ability to embrace a Maori world view is important along with the ability and skills to read and write to an advanced level in both English and Maori.
