Cook (Weekend ) - Cht Peacehaven

We are looking for a highly motivated and all-round Weekend Cook who wants to showcase their appetite focusing on the delivery of fresh, nutritional meals within our aged care facility CHT Peacehaven in Blockhouse bay . This is a permanent part-time position with 16 hours of work distributed between Saturday and Sunday.
Preparing, baking, cooking, and presenting mouth-watering and innovative dishes for our residents
Maintaining allergen awareness and presenting options for nutritionally healthy eating
Monitoring and maintaining food safety compliance
This position requires a person with leadership skills, pride in personal presentation, and cleanliness of the kitchen
A friendly and helpful nature is important to us, the residents, and clients
Experience working in a commercial kitchen, familiarity with bulk food cooking and requirements in an aged care environment are preferred
Ideally, holding a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or willingness to train for one
Ability to work independently and confidently
Demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service, and quality
