We have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Part Time  Cook  to prepare meals for Wairau Hospital in Blenheim, work a minimum of 24 hours per week.
You will be responsible for preparing, cooking and serving quality menu items. You will be establishing and maintaining quality control, and assisting with ordering and menu development. In addition, you will be assisting in general kitchen and cleaning duties. Providing cover for annual and sick leave (as and when required) Our Ideal Candidate: Will be hardworking, reliable with a friendly and positive attitude. Will have experience working as a cook in a commercial kitchen. Will hold a food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 & 168) or be happy to train for one. Will thrive under pressure and be a team player. Will have knowledge of temperature procedures and can work to timeframes. Will have good customer service skills but most importantly will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality. Competitive remuneration.
