You will be responsible for planning and preparing morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea, following food safety regulations, and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.At times, you may be required to provide additional support on the floor to maintain staff-to-child ratios and ensure a safe and engaging learning environment.About you – You'll have:A Certificate in Food and Beverage Service (Level 3) or related field.A Food Safety Certificate.A sound understanding of nutritional needs for Tamariki ages 3 months to 5 years old.The ability to cook 30-50 child portion meals and snacks daily.Knowledge of the Food Act 2014 and National Programme 2.A sound understanding of te reo Maori phrases, mihi and greetings, and Maori values, culture, and tikanga would be advantageous.This role is classified as a Core Worker and will need to pass a safety check under the Children's Act 2014.The ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time.Have we outlined a role that matches your capabilities and aspirations, and a workplace that appeals?
