About the role and who we are looking for: We are looking for an enthusiastic  Casual Cook  to work at  Wairarapa Hospital, Masterton . Hours are on as and when required basis. You will be required to: prepare bulk dishes for patient meals prepare single special items at times assist with ordering and stock rotation comply with Food safety standards have the ability to work to time frames have a good understanding of food allergens assist with general kitchen and cleaning duties. Ideal skills and experience you will have: If you're our ideal candidate you will be a team player, passionate about food and have excellent time management skills. You will have outstanding customer service and be flexible, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. Having the ability to work proactively both independently and as part of a team is essential. Ideally you will have previous experience working in a commercial kitchen environment.You will be a pro at Health & Safety but, most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
