We are community-owned, and working here means a career with meaning and purpose that makes a difference in your very own neighbourhood.The roleMonitor control system performance and assist with the optimisation of equipment lifecycles.Undertake RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) and communication installation configuration and diagnostics.Create new SCADA sites including commissioning and testing of SCADA points.Investigate the application of new equipment and technology solutions.Provide practical training sessions to staff and service providers for the implementation of new RTU and SCADA equipment.Review distribution network designs to ensure they fit with the OT & IT architecture.About youDepth of experience in a similar role with a solid knowledge of control systems implementations.Understanding of SCADA, networking, operating systems, control systems network protocols, and RTUs.Strong analytical skills with an advanced level of knowledge with Excel and attention to detail.Experience with GE ADMS, Foxboro, and SEL RTU products will be an advantage.Comfortable working in a dynamic and complex environment across various cross-functional teams.Highly motivated, innovative, curious, and open to new ways of doing things, so you'll need to think outside the box.We offerYou'll find at Orion, you can come as you are and just be you.
