Working closely with the Network Operations team, you'll oversee road maintenance contracts, manage contractor performance, and ensure projects adhere to Council and NZTA standards. You'll handle contract renewals, tendering, and procurement, ensuring all works align with approved budgets and timelines. This role also involves supporting Engineering Cadets, reviewing Traffic Management Plans, and prioritizing health and safety compliance across all projects. Your expertise will help maintain safe and efficient infrastructure for the community.This position is classified as Health Sensitive and Safety Sensitive so the preferred candidate will be required to undergo and pass a satisfactory pre-employment health and drug test.Ko wai koe | About youAre you a seasoned Contracts Engineer looking to make a difference in the community while covering a valued team member on parental leave?
