Role Overview:
As a Contracts Advisor within ACCIONA Concessions NZ on the Puhoi to Warkworth project, you will be integral to the success of the maintenance contract. Your role will involve overseeing contract management processes, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder & Supply Chain Relationships: Engage and support stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors, ensuring seamless collaboration and mutual benefits.
Risk & Contract Management: Identify, manage, and mitigate contractual risks, ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory standards.
Operational Support: Assist in preparing and managing contracts, variations, and claims, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
Commercial Strategy: Contribute to standardizing processes and templates to streamline contract administration.
Communication: Act as a key liaison between project teams, senior leadership, and third parties, ensuring effective project reporting and issue resolution.
What You'll Bring:
A law degree (postgraduate qualifications in a commercial or legal field are a plus)
At least 4 years of experience in civil engineering, maintenance, or major construction projects
Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Experience with risk management and the ability to develop mitigation strategies
A keen eye for detail and proficiency in MS Office
