Contract Developer

We are looking for a capable and reliable Front-end or Full Stack Developer with VueJS/NuxtJS experience to join us on a contract basis, starting in November. This is an exciting opportunity to work on an engaging project with a small, dynamic team. Contract Length: Initial 2-3 months (November to end of January), with the potential to extend or convert to full-time employment. Hours: 36-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Location: Preferably based in Wellington with the ability to come into the office 3 days per week. We will consider candidates from Auckland if there is limited Wellington interest. Note: There will be a 2-week project pause during the summer break. What you'll bring: Must-Have Skills: Strong experience with VueJS (ideally with) NuxtJS knowledge and TypeScript. Solid understanding of modern CSS standards, including BEM methodology. Proven track record of delivering high-quality, reliable code. A keen eye for detail and craftsmanship in your development work. Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly working with designers. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with Directus CMS. Familiarity with NodeJS. Experience with Silverstripe or PHP. Knowledge of Azure pipelines and CI/CD practices. Why Join Us?
