Contract Accounting Opportunity

3 - 6 month Project Management Accounting Larger Sized Finance team Our client is a larger Christchurch based organisation.
They are currently looking to support the existing Finance Manager while the business goes through some organisational changes, and so have a need for an experienced Accountant to join them on a contract basis.
We are therefore searching for a Qualified Management Accountant who will join the team, with responsibility for supporting the delivery of the monthly management reporting, business performance analysis and the development of the budgets and business planning.
We view this role as a challenging opportunity that may also offer longer term development potential depending on how the new systems are rolled out.
Due to the nature of the role, candidates will need to be formally qualified and able to offer proven skills and experience in business performance analysis & management reporting with strong business systems skills, ideally using tier one ERP applications.
Good Excel spreadsheet skills are essential and any experience using other database applications would be advantageous.
Applicants will then need to be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal & communication skills, a proactive problem solving approach, being willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved in managing the changes that will be required.
In return this will be an interesting fixed term contract and will offer plenty of challenges working with a great team.
