Contract Accountant

Immediate contract opportunity, 5 - 6 months Significant local businessEast Christchurch location The opportunity An immediate opening for an Accountant has arisen for a contract, likely to be around 5-6 months to assist with year-end processes.
A well known and constantly growing business, this is a company that will look great on your CV and expose you to a variety of duties across the Finance team.
Working with key stakeholders across the business and of course closely with the leadership team there will never be a dull moment!
Key Responsibilities will include: Assist with year-end accounts preparationMonthly financial reportingCompliance with statutory requirements (GST, FBT and NRWT returns)Assisting with external audit processesResponsibility for the General Ledger & Balance Sheet reconciliations Ad hoc project work where required Working closely with Senior Management this position will suit someone with the following skills and attributes: New Zealand CA qualified or working towardsUnderstanding of NZIFRS and other statutory requirementsComfortable with tax matters or utilising and working with tax experts when requiredExposure to Internal and External Audits How to Apply: If you are keen to hear more about this role or would like a confidential discussion on what else is available in the market then please contact Amber Murray at Graham Consulting on (email protected)
