### Key Responsibilities - **Customer Interaction:** - Serve as the first point of contact for external and internal inquiries regarding our products and services.
- Greet customers warmly and determine their service needs through active listening.
- Address customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- **Product Knowledge:** - Maintain an in-depth understanding of Newmont's services and product offerings to provide accurate information to customers.
- Stay current with industry trends and company policies to effectively address customer queries.
- **Decision-Making:** - Utilize strong decision-making skills to assess and resolve customer issues expeditiously, ensuring minimal disruption to their experience.
- Evaluate customer feedback to identify patterns and make recommendations for process improvements.
- **Negotiation:** - Negotiate favorable solutions for customers while balancing company policies and guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that all customer requests are handled efficiently and satisfactorily.
- **Documentation and Reporting:** - Document all customer interactions accurately in the CRM system, capturing relevant details and follow-up actions.
- Provide regular reports on customer interactions and feedback to management, highlighting any recurring issues or trends.
- **Change Management:** - Embrace and adapt to changes in processes and procedures as Newmont evolves its service delivery model.
- Work collaboratively with team members to support each other through transitions and challenges.
### Requirements - **Experience & Education:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a contact center or customer service environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or related field preferred.
- **Skills:** - Proven ability to negotiate effectively and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- **Personality Traits:** - Driven and hardworking; demonstrates a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Possesses a positive attitude and a strong desire to help others.
- **Soft Skills:** - Strong decision-making capabilities with the ability to weigh options and outcomes logically.
- Effective negotiation skills to resolve customer conflicts and reach mutually beneficial outcomes.
