Wairarapa Hospital provides services for a population of approximately 50,000, providing 24-hour acute and elective care in general and orthopaedic surgery, medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, ophthalmology, anaesthetics and paediatrics.
Wairarapa Hospital has a fantastic opportunity for a permanent part-time Paediatrician.
The successful applicant will be part of a small but committed team that works closely with our Paediatric department within our hospital.
Actual hours can be agreed to suit the applicant, hospital clinic, and on-call requirements.
You will be working across our seven-bed Paediatric ward and SCBU unit.
Our busy and dedicated team makes a difference to our patients and their whanau.
This is a part-time position, with a 1:4 on-call cover.
Innovative rostering options can be developed to suit individual preferences whilst maintaining the requisite level of cover.
Preference will be given to applicants who already hold Vocational Registration; however, applicants must be eligible to apply for Vocational Registration with the New Zealand Medical Council.
