Consultant or Medical Officer - Minor Operations Improving, promoting, protecting, and caring for the health and wellbeing of the people of Taranaki.

We are looking for a Medical Specialist (SMO) or Medical Officer (MOSS) to work in Minor Procedures, who is interested in improving, promoting, protecting, and caring for the health and wellbeing of the people of Taranaki.
The role is permanent, working 4 hours of patient contact per week in clinic, plus non-clinical time (0.16FTE total).

The successful applicant should have comprehensive experience and training in General Surgery and must have the FRACS with vocational registration or equivalent qualifications.
The department has a strong track record with audit, and you will be expected to participate and contribute to the department's activities including advanced trainee registrar teaching, supervision of house surgeons, audit, and medical student teaching.
