Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora – Manawatu County
We are looking for a new Consultant to join our highly skilled team in a permanent, full-time position. This critical position will see the successful candidate working within a team of 5 consultants supporting a full range of Obstetrics & Gynae services, including colposcopy.
The birth rate for Whanganui is around 800 births per year with a caesarean rate of less than 20 percent.
With the support of RMO's and Registrars, you will attend outpatient clinics and Theatre sessions each week and participate in the acute on call roster.

To succeed in this position, you will have completed your residency/ registrar training in O&G and are a fellow of The Royal Australian College and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) or working towards and are eligible to hold vocational registration with the Medical Council of NZ.
