Job summary
We are looking for versatile, enthusiastic individuals to join our Consultant Psychiatry teams to support us on our improvement and transformation journey.
This is an exciting time for the Trust as we are on a journey to bring together all NHS community and mental health services provided in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, including services provided by Solent NHS Trust, Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust, Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, that delivers Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in Hampshire, in what we call project Fusion.


Main duties, tasks & skills required
This is a fantastic time to join us. We need forward-thinking, dynamic change agents to join our teams who would offer first-class clinical leadership and clinical care across all our Mental Health Specialties and who will support us in our ongoing journey of transformation by bringing new ways to look at issues and thinking about how we deliver services.

General Adult Psychiatry - Liaison

Qualifications


Essential
Full Registration with the General Medical Council
MRCPsych or recognised equivalent
Eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 12 months of CCT at time of interview. CCT in general adult psychiatry.
Approved under section 12 of the Mental Health Act 1983


Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
