Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Nelson Marlborough seeks an experienced Haematologist to join the dynamic Haematology/Oncology department.

Permanent part-time 0.8FTE (64 hours fortnightly) to full time 1.0FTE (80 hours fortnightly)

The salary for this position is based on the current Senior Medical and Dental Officer collective agreement dependent on skills, experience, and vocational registration in NZ.
In addition to your salary, you will:

Have access to an employer matched Superannuation contribution of up to 6% of annual earnings.

The successful applicant will:

Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of haematological conditions for patients in the Nelson Marlborough Region.
Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research to advance haematological care.
Contribute to the education and training of our growing junior medical workforce.

Ko wai he kaitono totika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)
The ideal applicant will:

Have an FRACP with subspecialist training recognised by the Haematology Society.
Be eligible for an Annual Practising Certificate and vocational scope of Internal Medicine - Haematology.
Demonstrate experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of haematological conditions.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
