Seeking a consultant general adult psychiatrist for a full time community mental health team based job managing out patients in one of the South Island's most sought after locations.
Position Highlights
40 hour working week with no weekend or on call work
Join a supportive multidisciplinary team including: Medical Officers, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Registered Nurses and Social Workers, and employment specialists.
Bring your psychiatric skills and experience to a community mental health team managing adult patients in Blenheim
Experience in liaison psychiatry is advantageous
Supervise and participate in teaching of junior medical workforce
Professional Requirements
FRANZCP or equivalent specialist qualification
Eligible for vocational or provisional vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
Remuneration Package
Salary (ASMS scale depending upon experience)
Superannuation at 6%
6 weeks annual leave
12 days public holidays
10 days study leave plus NZD16K pa for expenses
Generous relocation package - be reimbursed a competitive relocation, accommodation, and car rental expenses
