DX AIRWORLD is a well-established Auckland based Air conditioning and Home improvement service Company from 2014 which is growing rapidly. As our business scope developed into home maintenance and renovation, we urgently need three full time experienced construction carpenters. You will be expected to work at different sites throughout Auckland region from Monday to Friday as normal hours of work, and you may also be expected to perform on weekends as well. Job Description for This Position Study the specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare the project layout and determine the dimensions and the materials required Shape or cut the materials to the specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saw or any other equipment needed Construct building frameworks, including wall studs, floor joist, and doorframes, cabinets Constructs and installs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, and cuts, shapes and fits timber parts to form structures and fittings. To be considered suitable for this position, you must Have working experience in Construction and infrastructure for minimum 3 years; Have a sound knowledge of Carpentry, especially in home renovation and maintenance; Understand various Carpentry methods, equipment and procedures; Have a solid understanding of health & safety regulations. Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with good communication skills and team spirit; Certificate in construction will be real advantage, but not essential. This is a permanent full-time role and the competitive hour pay rate depending on experience, from $27 to $30, stable more than 30 hours and opportunities to upskill and advance your career.
