Compliance Manager

Elevate Projects are working in partnership with our valued client, a reputable local provider of affordable housing and not-for-profit developer based in Cornwall, to appoint an experienced Compliance Manager to their buy Assets & Investment team.You will take the lead on legislative compliance of the portfolio of properties concerning Fire Safety and Legionella. Managing a small technical team and appointed contractors to ensure works are completed to agreed timescales, budgets, and quality standards.Responsibilities: Reviewing fire risk assessments for buildings to identify potential fire hazards. Ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and local codes (such as the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 in the UK). Ensuring fire alarms, fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, and smoke detectors are installed, inspected, and maintained properly. Conducting regular checks to confirm that all fire safety equipment is functional and up-to-date.
