Company Accountant

This New Zealand owned FMCG retailer based in Auckland CBD is seeking an experienced Company Accountant to be a part of their close-knit team. This role would suit someone who can take ownership of the finance function and assist the Executives and department heads with accurate financial information.

About the role: This is a permanent full-time, multi-faceted role. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting duties, month-end reporting, trial balance reconciliation, budgeting forecasting, and ensuring the company adheres to tax and compliance policies.

About you: Previous senior level 3-4 years accounting experience within retail sector - a must Relevant accounting degree CA/CPA or working towards it Proactive and well-versed with complex accounting duties Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Tech-savvy, good with accounting ERP systems In return the company offers: Competitive remuneration Car park in CBD !!
