Community Support Worker - Child, Youth & Respite Casual Position
Salary: $23.38 - $29.10 per hour

We currently have roles with our children's respite house at Spectrum Care covering early mornings, after school, evenings, and weekends. We're looking for team members to help kids and teenagers with intellectual disabilities to feel safe and have fun while staying at our respite house in Titahi Bay.
You will need to know how to liven things up and calm things down, notice how children are feeling, and provide them with guidance, comfort, or support as needed. You will need to be vigilant, warm, and creative. Additionally, as the children have a vast range of communication styles, an ability or interest in learning to find effective ways to communicate is very much preferred.
What do you need?
