We are looking for a confident, competent Registered Nurse to join our Community Services team, responsible for providing comprehensive, integrated nursing care across the lifespan. This position involves a high level of autonomy and independence providing direct patient support and care; and promoting health and wellbeing within our community. You will ideally have a background in primary health and/or acute hospital care settings. A minimum of at least two years post-graduate general clinical experience in New Zealand is required, ideally within a Maori healthcare setting.
You will be a highly motivated team player, with a high standard of clinical skills and a willingness to develop and engage across our services. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work as part of a collaborative team to assist clients and whanau navigate their treatment journey and achieve optimal health outcomes. A current practicing certificate and valid drivers' license are required. Authorised non-medical vaccinator and smear-taker competency certification is highly desirable.

Registered Nurse: support a diverse range of patients across accident and emergency, acute inpatient, and hospital level residential care across a 24/7 shift roster.
Community Health Nurse: undertake a wide range of nursing duties in our rural community including district nursing, public health nursing, practice nursing, well child nursing and palliative care.
Nurse Practitioner: demonstrate nursing leadership and provide clinical advice, care, and education. Place whanau at the centre of care, exploring health and wellbeing concerns, preferences, health behaviours, attitudes and priorities using a Kaupapa Maori strengths-based approach.
