Job Description This role is open to internal St John members only.
He aha te turanga - About the role: A rare opportunity is available for an enthusiastic individual to join the South Island Community Engagement team, providing administrative support on a case by case basis.
This paid casual role is based in our Christchurch office.
Reporting to the Assistant to Regional Manager of Community Engagement, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including: Assisting with ordering office stationery Processing purchase orders and invoices via Medius Flow Supporting the generation of reports and documents Maintaining and filing documents Assisting with ad hoc projects Qualifications Ko wai koe - About you: Skills and experience you'll bring: Proficiency in computer and keyboard skills, particularly in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel Strong customer service, interpersonal, and relationship building skills Excellent communication skills, including active listening; able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders and collaborators Relevant practical experience in or working with the charity/NGO/community development sector (desirable) Flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to changes Additional Information Me pehea te tuku tono - How to apply Click "I'm interested" before applications close on Thursday 24th October 2024 For further information please contact Elena Liang, Recruitment Experience Advisor on 0800 ST JOHN for a confidential discussion.
