Te Aroha Noa Community Services is a multi-disciplinary community development organisation that provides an integrated range of services to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of individuals, families/whanau and the community. Our core objective is to encourage an empowered, self-managed community through providing early intervention, integrated and holistic services to the community.The Role:Are you ready to be the heartbeat of a thriving community? Te Aroha Noa is on the hunt for a dynamic Community Engagement Coordinator! We're looking for someone who is community-focused, a visionary, a bridge-builder, and a champion of our core values. This is a chance to engage with the community, build powerful alliances, and apply the Principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in every aspect of your work. You'll be at the helm of planning and implementing innovative, holistic community events and initiatives that truly make a difference! We're looking for someone who's got that creative spark and initiative, who can work both as part of a team and independently.Responsibilities Include:Engage with the community through co-design and community-led development principles.Build effective relationships and work collaboratively with community stakeholders.Understand and commit to applying the Principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in all aspects of work.Engage in critical reflection and evaluation of all events and initiatives.Plan and implement creative, holistic community events and initiatives.Skills and Experience:Creative strategic thinking is integral to this role.Ability to work within a team and autonomously.Community-focused & people-oriented.Confident speaker.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.Willingness to learn, grow, and develop skillset.Life experience and work experience.Knowledge of the community you will be working in.Experience in group work, development, and facilitation.If you're ready to take on this exciting journey, send your CV and cover letter to Te Aroha Noa Administrator.
