The purpose of this role is to support Community Allied Health Services, working in people's homes to promote rehabilitation and health.
Key elements of this role will include:
Assisting allied health professionals to deliver rehabilitation programmes within people's homes.
Sourcing, delivering and setting up of equipment to promote health, wellbeing and maintaining independence.
Plus, other tasks delegated by registered Allied Health professionals.

You will be flexible, an excellent communicator, a team player and have a good sense of humour. You will be committed to the principles of the Te Tiriti of Waitangi and achieving equity.
This is a diverse role, and you will need the ability to think on your feet.
On the job training, supervision and support will be provided.

Qualifications
It's essential that you have Year 11 NCEA Level 1 English and Maths (or equivalent) and a current full driver's licence.
The NZQA Level 3: New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Health Assistance Strand, if not previously obtained, is to be completed within 2 years of commencement.
