If you are a resilient and resourceful individual with a knack for effective communication, we invite you to apply to become a part of our progressive team. ### Key Responsibilities: - **Content Creation:** Develop compelling written content for a variety of platforms, including websites, newsletters, social media, press releases, and internal communications. - **Stakeholder Engagement:** Foster relationships with various internal and external stakeholders to promote organizational initiatives and ensure alignment in communication strategies. - **Media Relations:** Assist in building and maintaining positive relationships with media representatives; respond to media inquiries and coordinate interviews. - **Social Media Management:** Oversee Methven's social media channels by creating engaging content, monitoring posts, and analyzing engagement metrics to optimize outreach. - **Crisis Communication:** Assist in the development and execution of crisis communication strategies, managing any internal or external issues with professionalism and clarity. - **Research and Analysis:** Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitors, and audience preferences to inform communication strategies. Analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and make recommendations for improvement. - **Event Coordination:** Collaborate with team members to plan and execute events, workshops, and seminars; ensure seamless communication pre, during, and post-events. - **Brand Ambassador:** Uphold and promote Methven's brand and values in all communication efforts, ensuring consistency across all channels. - **Project Management:** Manage multiple projects simultaneously with effective time management, ensuring all deadlines are met and deliverables are achieved. - **Feedback Mechanism:** Establish processes for gathering feedback from staff and stakeholders to continually improve communication flow and initiatives. ### Requirements: - **Education:** A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. - **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of experience in a communications or public relations role. - **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and content management systems.
