About THINK Hauora:
THINK Hauora provides primary health services across Palmerston North, Manawatu, Tararua, Horowhenua and Otaki communities. We work with general practices and community health service providers, and support core alliances with Te Whatu Ora MidCentral, Te Tihi o Ruahine and Raukawa Whanau Ora.

The Role:
The role of the Communications Manager sits within the Corporate Services Group, reporting to the General Manager. It works broadly across our organisation, with our primary care partners and with other organisations supporting the communities we serve.
A sole-charge position supported by external providers, this role represents a great opportunity for experienced communications practitioners who have a sharp strategic focus and ability to influence and thrive in a dynamic environment, developing and implementing great communications every day.
You will bring to life our communications and engagement strategy in our everyday work; be a trusted source of strategic advice for senior leaders; and an active participant in cross-organisational and cross-sector work to improve the understanding of and access to the services THINK Hauora provides and enables for communities within our rohe.
Our ideal applicant will have:
previous experience in a senior communications role with a generalist focus
proven strategic and operational communications planning, and delivery expertise
excellent advisory, writing, editing, presentation and communication skills
well-honed influencing skills
demonstrated success as a trusted advisor to senior leaders
