We've got a role in our team for a smart, humble, and results driven communications advisor to help improve outcomes for injured New Zealanders.

Your role will be to help us deliver this purpose, by working within a high-performing strategic communications and marketing team to engage with our audiences.

You will be supporting the delivery of a range of initiatives to improve health outcomes for injured New Zealanders. You will be a generalist with a few years' experience under your belt.

You'll be comfortable lending your hand to a full range of communications and marketing activities. This will include supporting the delivery of communications plans via multiple channels, including digital and social.

You will also have strong foundations, with excellent writing skills and sound judgement. As this role will work across teams, you'll be someone who enjoys mucking in to get the work done, and who is comfortable moving at pace, navigating ambiguity and changing tack quickly.

Mo tenei turana mahi About this role The Communication and Engagement Advisor is responsible for delivering on communications and engagement plans, approaches, and initiatives for ACC customers.

They will develop good working relationships with stakeholders across the business to champion the customer and get things moving.

They will utilise the full range of channels available to deliver communication and engagement initiatives to improve the experience we give customers and enhance the performance of the organisation.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

Contribute to the design, development and delivery of communications and engagement plans and initiatives.

Work with teams to identify communications and engagement needs, issues and implications for customers and recommend appropriate solutions.

Ensure plans and initiatives contribute to the improvement of the customer experience, are consistent with ACC's engagement strategy and brand, and help to build trust and confidence.

Generate content for internal and external communications through oral, written, and visual means including writing articles, social media posts and website material.

Be responsible for end-to-end delivery of various communications projects and be able to juggle multiple projects at once.

Provide sound communications advice to project teams.

Work well with internal and external suppliers to create and deliver effective communications within prescribed budgets.

Tertiary qualification in communications or marketing working experience to equivalent level will be considered.

Experienced in the delivery of communications and / or marketing strategies and plans to customer segments.

Understanding of measurement of communications channels, and application of insights to improve approach.

Proficient working across digital channels, including website, social media and email - content creation and platform.

Demonstrable communication (written and oral) and presentation skills, using a variety of writing styles and skills.

Very good interpersonal, relationship management and networking skills.

Good planning and project management skills.

Strong customer focus.

Highly collaborative approach.

Evidence of problem solving and analytical skills.

Flexible and nimble in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and to prioritise tasks to meet competing deadlines.

The salary range for this role is $76,855- $95,291 with appointment depending on skills and experience.

ACC also offers 9% superannuation.
