Physiotherapy New Zealand Communications and Marketing Advisor Physiotherapy New Zealand (PNZ) is seeking a full-time Communications and Marketing Advisor based in Wellington, to support effective communications and marketing activity across multiple channels.
About Physiotherapy New Zealand PNZ is the national membership organisation for physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants and physiotherapy students, providing members with advocacy, education, and advice.
You may be the perfect addition to our team if you can: Lead, support, and coordinate communications activity, and identify and develop market opportunities for new and existing member services.Advise on the development, coordination, and implementation of plans for promoting PNZ's services to members.Demonstrate an understanding of the health sector in Aotearoa New Zealand, with a particular focus on allied health and physiotherapy.Engage with members using the MemberConnex platform, including through member emails and website content.
Requirements A proven background in the ownership, development, and delivery of communications and marketing activity.
Applicants require a bachelor's degree or higher qualification in communications, or at least five years' relevant experience in a similar role.
Specific capabilities may include but not limited to experience in: Planning, developing, and organising activity to support communications objectives.Advising on communications strategies and campaigns to reach target markets, creating awareness, and effectively promoting the attributes of goods, services, and events.Supporting business growth and development through the preparation and execution of marketing programmes.Advising on all elements of marketing such as product mix, pricing, promotion, and selling.Leading the production of publications including member magazines, academic journals, and annual reports.Monitoring, sourcing, writing, and publishing social media, website, and email content.Supporting and leading public relations activity, including engagement with news media outlets.
Experience in graphic and web design, and post-production photo and video editing, is also desirable.
This is a 0.8 to 1.0 FTE role (32 to 40 hours per week), located in our Wellington office and remunerated at an FTE adjusted salary of between $75,000 per annum and $80,000 per annum.
