Job Description
Join our energetic kitchen team as a Commis Chef and be a key player in our culinary success! In this role, you'll assist our chefs by preparing and cooking meals across various outlets, from breakfast and dinner to room service. You'll handle mise en place, monitor stock levels, and ensure that all food is stored and managed to the highest health and hygiene standards.
As an essential team member, you'll efficiently manage your section, maintain rigorous stock rotation, and ensure every dish meets our top-quality standards. Qualifications
Trade qualifications and previous experience in the hotel industry preferred
Knowledge of food safety requirements
Service oriented with an eye for detail
Time management skills with the ability to multitask
Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members
Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
Full working rights, sponsorship is not available
