About the opportunity | Te whai waahi Are you passionate about driving innovation and creating strategic partnerships? We're looking for a talented individual to join us as a Commercial and Technical Lead where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our innovation strategy and maximising commercialisation opportunities through impactful investments.
As the Commercial and Technical Lead, you'll be instrumental in supporting the Head of Commercial as you provide expert advice and robust analysis to support the commercialisation of innovation opportunities and investments. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to establish strategic partnerships, alliances, and new ventures, you will ensure alignment with our Innovation Blueprint and Long-Term Agreement (LTA) objectives maximising benefits for the Co-op and our stakeholders.

Assessing new & emerging technology options and potential partners, performing horizon scanning and undertaking market research and market sizing assessments as requiredLeading the analysis of innovation opportunities and providing recommendations where commercialisation pathways will require the establishment of strategic partnerships, alliances, creation of new ventures, new innovation and research centresEnsuring that commercial opportunities identified through innovation are robustly assessedMaintaining strong internal and external networks and partnerships with experts to ensure a robust and holistic view is providedUsing financial modelling to quantify the potential to create value About you | Moe koe Ideally with a blend of commercial and technical/science experience, you will be a strategic thinker but also curious by nature. With a flair for navigating uncertainty, you will have previous experience of working with new ventures as you size up new market opportunities and establish partnerships.
With strong commercial acumen, you will have demonstrable financial modelling experience as you analyse and assess complex, or at times incomplete information, to derive meaningful and commercially sound insights.
Communication will second to none as you maintain key relationships across the world working collaboratively to achieve objectives.
You will also:
