Commercial Housekeeper Wanted Work Location: Canterbury Region Employment type: Full time (minimum 30 hours/per week, Monday to Sunday), Permanent role Our pay: $29.66 - $32.00 per hour depending on skills and experience We are a property management company based in Christchurch. We are now looking for a Commercial Housekeeper to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people and will allow access into a reputable and experienced company. Tasks you may carry out: Cleaning the interior properties and the immediate outside areas Sweeping, mopping and polishing floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, and cleaning curtains and upholstered furniture Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures and fittings Replacing defective items such as light bulbs, door knob Picking up rubbish, emptying garbage containers, and taking contents to waste areas for removal Cleaning, maintaining, mowing and weeding the garden/ outside area. Restocking and replenishing items such as drinking glasses, writing equipment, linen and groceries Stripping and making beds, and changing bed linen Performing laundry and ironing of bed coverings Maintaining kitchens, washing dishes and cooking utensils, and cleaning appliances, cupboards, counters, pantries and floors To be successful you will need to: Be a great team player, be able to follow instructions Be physically fit and willingness to work hard Good eye for details and an ability to solve problems practically and effectively Have a "can-do" attitude A full driving license is required Our goal is to inspire people more than managing them.
