The Role
The role of GM Finance is very commercially focused. You must have expertise in manufacturing operations and understand the factory from a productivity perspective and drive operational performance of the plant from a financial perspective. Your key responsibilities will include:
Provide leadership to the finance team and the wider businessEnsure the monthly reporting pack is accurate and timely for the Exec team.Drive the budgeting & forecasting process and guide the business accordinglyDrive flash reporting for decision makingBusiness partner with the Division Manager & the MD.Oversee the annual statutory reporting, tax compliance and legislative requirementsManage cashflowDevelop KPI's of operational effectiveness and measure performance to drive performance, particularly around sales, margins and factory effectivenessAssess financial risks and benefits of all prospective contracts with customersOther ad hoc duties as required.Your profile:
To be considered for this role you must be commercially savvy and have worked as a site controller within a manufacturing organisation. You will have the following attributes:
A team player who is happy to be hands on and pivot as required between hands on and strategicSAP ExperienceAn ability to business partner a wide range of people, functions and personalitiesPreferably a CA or equivalentIdeally experience in working in MNCA broad view of business; i.e. we are looking for an individual with wide business knowledge and commercial and manufacturing acumenHow to apply
