Role ResponsibilitiesRTD Business Performance Management• Drive the RTD performance through commercial review, flagging risks and opportunities• Day-to-day commercial management of the RTD business (trading strategy, month/year-to-date brand performance, month end reviews, ad-hoc requests)• Support Marketing, Category and Supply Chain within the RTD Team with business performance reporting and identify regular reports to increase business awareness.• Proactively manage the RTD business's financial year profit targets and develop recommendations to manage financial performance vs plan.• Complete Monthly Reporting to understand performance to support the Marketing, Category and Supply Chain functions within the RTD Team Reporting & Analysis• Complete month-end closing & monthly forecast submissions• Prepare monthly / quarterly reporting packs; month / year to date performance, KPI reporting and Financial Risks & Opportunities.• Manage monthly True Up File from CCEP• Prepare data for reporting to support commercial teams Planning & Forecasting• Support in the planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for NZ• Consolidate and submit monthly forecasts, LE, Strat Plan and Budget to internal systems.
• Ensure accuracy of all monthly forecasts in the internal systems• Ownership of BSI NZ COGs and transfer pricing process for Budget and Forecasting • Pricing Analysis and RRP to CCEP for Budget• Ensure regional deadlines are adhered to Process Improvements • Make recommendations for simplification of month end reporting processes, including best use of tools available and recommendations for new tools.
• Provide management information and insightful analysis to assist commercial team to identify business and financial improvement opportunities.• Drive the development and improvement of forecasting and business planning processes to achieve improved accuracy and efficiency, and ultimately better business insight.
Other • Ensure Beam Suntory Brand Investment and NPD activity is properly monitored and controlled• Monitor month end Brand Investment including accrual management• Manage BI reporting through BI Effectiveness • Support in managing OPEX in New Zealand• Maintenance of master files - (ie master mapping tables, updating staffies and S&C forms, System P&L history)• Updating Pricing Conditions – Transfer Prices, Excise• Propose commercial journals managing month end P&L, checking final and providing commentary to the month end P&L including monitoring of contractual costs• Support project implementations for NZ Qualifications Degree qualified with finance or accounting qualification and 3-5 years relevant industry experience.
Systems/software – experience in using advanced Microsoft Excel (essential), and management reporting/consolidation systems (preferable).
Experienced in writing succinct and insightful business performance reports, and summarizing business analysis.
Strong in building financial models.
Cross Functional Working – proven experience in working proactively across commercial functions to deliver total business performance solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement and Management – demonstrated experience in influencing and managing multiple stakeholders, building mutually beneficial, profit-focused business relationships.
