Responsibilities: Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify, target, and secure new commercial solar projects.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the commercial sector, including property developers, businesses, and local councils.
Conduct site visits and energy assessments to tailor solutions that meet client energy needs and sustainability goals.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Engineering, Operations, and Customer Service, to ensure seamless project delivery.
Negotiate contracts and close deals with commercial clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and relevant legislation impacting the solar industry.
Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, contributing to the company's overall growth objectives.
Represent Lightforce Solar at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Provide detailed reports and forecasts to senior management on sales performance and market opportunities.
What we are looking for:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector.
Proven track record of closing high-value B2B deals and meeting sales targets.
Strong understanding of solar PV systems, battery storage, and energy efficiency solutions.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create tailored energy solutions for complex commercial projects.
Experience with CRM systems, designing software, sales pipelines, and reporting tools.
Knowledge of the commercial solar market and relevant government incentives and policies.
A network of contacts within the commercial property or construction industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with key solar brands.
