Commercial Business Analyst - Procurement : 3-6 Month Fixed Term

This will be suited to those experienced in systems and processes relating to procurement and vendor management.
Our client is one of Hawkes Bay's larger exporters and employers.
This scale is reflected in the complexity and size of their supplier agreements and vendor spend per annum.
They are keen to have the clearest and most optimised view of spend that they can.
Reporting to the CFO, we need you to run a fine-tooth comb over their vendors in order for them to get a really clear picture of spend, and of the supplier agreements and contracts.
You will be someone experienced in getting under the bonnet of commercial terms and cost centres, and be capable of extracting relevant data to look at rates and the cost drivers associated with this large primary production environment.
You must be comfortable having commercial discussions both internally across the business and with external suppliers.
All with a view to driving value for money and establishing a granular view of spend and supplier spend.
The business is currently using Navision, and looking to migrate to Business Central.
A key part of your role will include a data cleanse to ensure accurate and relevant data migration when they do move over to their new platforms in the future.

This will be suited to procurement or finance leaders with a strong procurement lens, and systems bent.
Good people engagement and communication skills are a must, as you will be right across the business and communicating with key people to get the required information.
