Through integration and collaboration, we're building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whanau-centred care, and excellence.About the RoleThe purpose of this position is to ensure immunisation providers adhere to the National cold chain management standards for the safe storage and handling of vaccines across Northland.You will promote a high standard of vaccine storage, administration & documentation, providing direction and oversight to Immunisation Service Providers regarding vaccine storage and monitoring of refrigerators.Reviewing, advising and assessing immunisation providers to ensure cold chain accreditation as per national standards is an important component of this role.This role is permanent part time 0.5 FTE working 20 hours per week, with some flexibility in hours and days. This role is based in Whangarei; however, some travel around the region will be required.About the TeamOur Community Clinical Services team are based around the region and promote, facilitate, and provide clinical education and treatment to maximise healthcare delivery in a community environment.You will have the opportunity to work alongside other health professionals and team members within a supportive, multi-disciplinary team.
