You will manage logistics functions including packing, labelling, stock counts, and inventory control, while maintaining a high standard of data entry and organisational practices.Key Responsibilities and DutiesOrder Processing: Pick, pack, and label orders, ensuring timely dispatch in collaboration with the workshop manager and sales team.Data Entry: Accurately enter dispatched items and received orders into our NetSuite system.Customer Support: Respond to e-mail orders and customer queries promptly.Inventory Management: Perform regular stock takes and counts, maintaining accurate records.Stock Control: Monitor and maintain stock levels, and place orders for necessary materials (e.g., stickers for balers and bins).Logistics Management: Unload trucks and containers and coordinate international freight bookings and distribution across New Zealand.Warehouse Organisation: Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised, and operating efficiently.Supplier Liaison: Communicate with suppliers regarding stock orders and delivery schedules.Equipment Operation: Safely operate electric reach trucks and conventional forklifts.Other Duties: Perform any other warehouse-related tasks as required.Key AttributesStrong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues.Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.Proficiency with NetSuite and basic computer systems.Well-presented and professional appearance.Valid Forklift & Reach truck Licence and relevant operational experience.To be successful in the role you will be/have:Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager in a relevant industry/business.Strong leadership and communication skills.Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in warehouse management software and good computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Office with competent reporting and analysis skills.Physically fit.An understanding of Health and Safety in a Warehousing environment.Full NZ Drivers licence and Forklift licence.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to maintaining an organised, efficient warehouse, we would love to hear from you!
