Te Whare Wananga o Awanuiarangi is a vibrant and exciting tertiary education institution which offers a range of programmes from certificates to doctorates across a range of disciplines.

We are seeking a team player with a passion for marketing and promotions to spearhead our brand and recruitment marketing activities. As a member of the marketing and communications team, your primary focus will be implementing effective promotional campaigns to increase student enrolments in our programmes.

Our successful applicant will have:

A relevant qualification at degree level and/or equivalent relevant work experience in business, marketing or public relations.

Experience in the field of promotional marketing and recruitment, preferably in a tertiary environment.

Experience building networks with whanau, hapu, iwi and the community.

Proven ability to use Microsoft Office and database software.

Knowledge of tikanga Maori and the ability to korero Te Reo Maori to at least an intermediate level along with a willingness to improve Te Reo skills beyond this level.

A full clean driver's licence.

The ability to travel away from home to support scheduled off-site activities.

Experience with digital marketing platforms and advertising channels.

Well-organised, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
