About the role
Maintenance machining for Forestry, Mining and Construction Equipment
Program and operate CNC and manual machining lathes and milling machines with expertise and finesse.
Execute machining operations to exact specifications, ensuring high-quality output.
Conduct precision fitting and turning tasks for heavy engineering components.
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints with precision and accuracy.
Collaborate closely with engineers and other team members to meet project deadlines and objectives.
About you
Proven experience as a programming machinist, preferably in heavy engineering environments (Forestry, Construction, Mining)
Proficiency in operating both CNC and manual machining lathes and milling machines.
Experience with measuring equipment to micrometer accuracy
Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
