Working Hours: Full time - 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday - Friday
Contract Duration: 1 year Fixed term contract

About the Role
This vacancy is due to maternity leave, and the term of maternity cover will be for 1 year. The scheduler is responsible for managing the General Surgery FSA waitlist, ensuring all appointments are booked in a timely manner and dealing with patients in a caring and helpful manner. The role requires expertise in navigating Patient Management systems or equivalent experience with Information Management Systems.

About the Team/Service/Location
We are a dedicated team of administrators that support the referral system, booking system, and patient information. We work to support our patients and each other to ensure that we provide the best service to our community.
About You
Previous administration experience
Experience with Microsoft applications and/or Patient Management Systems
Proven knowledge of the Privacy Act and the Health Information Privacy Code
Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings
