Management (Information & Communication Technology)We are actively seeking a skilled Cloud Ops Team Lead to join our innovative Cloud team within Kordia.Reporting to the Head of Cloud Technology and Delivery, this role will be working across multiple projects, ensuring the success of Kordia's Cloud Managed Services.Ko ta matou mahi - About the roleThe Cloud Ops Team Lead is responsible for managing and coaching a team of Cloud Engineers to deliver service outcomes across Kordia's Cloud Managed Services Portfolio. Working closely with Project Managers, Consultants, Cloud Engineers, as well as clients and third parties, this role is designed to enable Kiwi businesses with Cloud solutions.To be successful, the candidate will need to have significant experience in IT service management, strong influencing and negotiating skills at all levels, a strategic outlook, and demonstrable experience with DevOps, SRE, Agile and other disciplines. Experience having mentored and coached a team is essential.Ko to mahi – What you will do.Your key accountabilities will include:Mentor, coach and take responsibility for day-to-day team management of the CloudOps teamSuccessfully deliver outcomes of all Cloud managed service productsDevelop and maintain processes, tools, templates, reportsDevelop CloudOps team culture, frameworks, and team cadenceNa tou rourou - What you will bringDemonstrable experience of leading, coaching and mentoring a team to drive successful outcomes8+ years of experience in the IT industryGeneral knowledge of IT systems and Cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Knowledge of cloud services, virtualization, networking, and storage systemsFormal Agile or Project Management certification preferredExperience working with technical teams to consult, implement and support IT solutionsAptitude for understanding and resolving problemsThe ability to foster an open, collaborative environment that encourages quality, innovation, ongoing learning, and knowledge sharingExcellent communication skills with the ability to present complex issues in a way that engages both technical and business leadersKordia delivers mission-critical technology and network solutions across New Zealand, Australia, and the South Pacific.
