If you enjoy working in a fast paced and busy environment, we have opportunities for New Zealand Registered Medical Imaging Technologists to join our hard working but fun team in the Radiology Department at Dunedin Hospital!
Fully equipped, providing DR, CR, PACS, general x-ray, emergency, theatre, ICU work, a Dual Source 128 slice CT scanner, DSA, NM, MRI and Ultrasound services.
Dynamic and varied work environment across the board, with the opportunity to work in multidisciplinary teams servicing a vast geographical service delivery area with a diverse patient population.
You will certainly be kept on your toes, with our service operating on a 24/7 basis with on-call rostering.

Responsible for all aspects involved in the clinical training of Ara students.

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate the following:
A natural affinity for relationship building with both patients and staff alike.
Be a team player through and through, with refined communication skills.
Hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate and hold registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiations Technologists Board.
At least 2 years post qualification.
A flexible approach with the ability to multitask and the aptitude to successfully prioritise your workload.
Acts with discretion, sensitivity, and integrity at all times.
Previous teaching experience, or an affinity to teach others, with an approachable, professional personality.
You must have the ability to cover both the on call and shift roster.

This role belongs to the APEX/DHBs Medical Imaging Technologists Collective Agreement (1 September 2022 – 30 June 2024) and the salary is recognition step 2 $109,000 of the Medical Imaging Technologists scale.
