We are seeking a Clinical Team Coordinator to provide clinical oversight for Specialist Mental Health Services across the Hillmorton campus. Specialist Mental Health Service (SMHS) is the major provider of mental health services for the Canterbury District Health Board. The service aims to provide excellence of care for people with mental illness, ensuring their dignity, safety and independence.

The Clinical Team Coordinator (CTC) is a senior nursing role to facilitate optimum care and coordinated multi-disciplinary team service delivery after hours for SMHS, to consumers and their families. The CTC confidently provides advanced clinical care, leadership and co-ordination of the MDT and co-ordination of any emergency responses after hours.
Nga pukenga me nga wheako | Skills and experience
A current NZ Nursing Registration and APC with a scope of practice that includes Mental Health
Recent experience within Waitaha Specialist Mental Health Services, preferably inpatient experience
Excellent communication and time management skills
Expert clinical nursing knowledge and has leadership experience.
A commitment to relevant post graduate study either having completed or have commenced the post graduate pathway
Adherence to guidelines of Cultural Safety and the Treaty of Waitangi
