Whanau Awhina Plunket is a well-known charity who supports the health and wellbeing of tamariki under-five and their whanau. We provide clinical support through our traditional well child checks, 24/7 telehealthcare via PlunketLine. Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a confident people leader to join our team as a Clinical Services Manager. While our preference is to have a Wellington based kaimahi, we may consider application from surrounding areas for the right candidate. Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity You'll join us at an exciting time of change and innovation, with nurse prescribing and immunisation pilots in the pipeline, there are bound to be some exciting changes to manage alongside the day-to-day mahi involved in leading a geographically dispersed and busy team. Drawing on your appreciation and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity considerations in Aotearoa, you'll understand how to ensure methods of service delivery support us to improve outcomes for mokopuna Maori as well as other whanau who may find accessing healthcare challenging. He korero mou | About you You will be able to showcase your experience in coaching and supporting high performing leaders who enable their kaimahi to thrive. You will be a strategic thinker, who has experience in motivating your direct reports and their teams to reach strategic organisational goals. Providing leadership at this level will require you to have established networks with iwi providers and across the health sector. You will be adept at managing multiple contracts and nouse to make budgetary and staffing decisions to support your teams to do their best mahi.
