The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join the Mental Health and Addictions Service Te Matapuna o te Ora at MidCentral.
This is a full-time permanent position of 40 hours per week. The Horowhenua Community Mental Health Service provides assessment and treatment within a recovery framework to those experiencing moderate to serious mental health and/or addiction difficulties.
The role will sit in the Horowhenua Locality (Levin catchment area). The service is delivered in line with national and international best practice principles.
Key Responsibilities: Undertaking psychological assessments and interventions with adults experiencing moderate to serious mental health and/or addiction needs in the community. Supporting transition to community-based care. Minimum Requirements: The applicant must have a recognised qualification, registration, relevant experience in the mental health field, excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, and willingness to run groups and co-work extensively in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
