Clinical Practice Manager (Maternity Cover)Te Hau Ora O Ngapuhi (THOON) is charged with leading the health strategy for Ngapuhi, serving whanau, hapu and hapori living within Te Whare Tapu O Ngapuhi, whether Maori or non-Maori. Our services are whanau-centred and our initiatives focus on improving the social and wellbeing outcomes for whanau.We are excited to offer this opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Clinical Practice Manager to oversee the operations of our clinical practice and outreach mobile programs. This is for a fixed period of 12 months.Key aspects of this role include:Provide leadership and direction to clinical staff, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure the delivery of patient-centered care.Oversee the scheduling and coordination of patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely access to care.Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in clinical care.Manage the budget for the clinical practice and outreach programs, including monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings.Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to enhance the reach and impact of our mobile outreach programs.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical services and outreach programs, making recommendations for improvement as needed.Provide supervision and support to clinical staff, including performance evaluations, training, and professional development opportunities.Serve as a liaison between clinical staff, management, and external stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration.Participate in strategic planning initiatives to support the growth and sustainability of the clinical practice and outreach programs.Uphold the values and mission of Te Hau Ora O Ngapuhi, promoting cultural competence and sensitivity in all aspects of service delivery.We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, so if the above describes your superpowers, and you want to make a difference in our Northland community, please forward your CV and cover letter to ******.
