The clinical nurse specialist is an advanced nursing practice role, responsible for providing excellence in clinical care and liaison for patients and whanau with complex palliative care needs. Additionally, the role includes day-to-day clinical leadership for one of the geographical nursing areas.He momo/About youImportant to this role is the ability to work alongside primary providers of palliative care in collaborative partnership. The successful candidate will have advanced clinical assessment skills in prioritising and coordinating reviews of patients with complex needs, along with the ability to build clinical networks and maintain excellent relationships with other health professionals.If you have 4 years post-registration relevant experience, a post-graduate diploma in palliative care or equivalent, and a driver license, you may be who we are looking for.Ki te huanga/Benefits of working at Nurse MaudeWellbeing - The wellbeing of our staff is very important to us.
