Carejobz is working exclusively with our client, a prestigious healthcare provider, to recruit for this exceptional opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Lead to join a dynamic and supportive surgical team in Wellington.
In this senior role, you will lead a team of talented theatre nurses, ensuring excellence in the provision of quality surgical care across a wide range of specialties, including General Surgery, Gynaecology, Urology, Orthopaedics, Neuro, Vascular, Plastics , and Ophthalmology .
You'll be the driving force behind the team, maintaining high standards of care and inspiring others to perform at their best.

What You'll Bring to the Role A Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate and relevant scope of practice for a surgical setting.
At least 5 years of theatre experience , with a strong preference for General Surgery experience.
Previous leadership experience , with the ability to inspire, mentor, and lead a team.
Post-graduate qualifications in clinical nursing practice or a commitment to further education.
Intermediate-level computer literacy and a proactive approach to learning new systems.
A genuine passion for delivering high-quality patient care and the ability to build strong relationships with surgeons and healthcare professionals.

Maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Collaborating with the Theatre Services Manager to improve patient outcomes and support staff development.
